Anouk Koudijs joins Reaktor as a Chief People Officer. Based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Koudijs strengthens the compan’s global leadership team – the first ever leadership team member outside of Helsinki, Finland, where Reaktor’s headquartered.
“Reaktor has a unique DNA that fosters trust, autonomy, and collaboration. I’m excited to join the company at this new growth stage, in which we need to understand how to adapt so we can continue to expand globally”, Koudijs says.
Koudijs has over two decades of experience working in different industries and various international HR leadership and change roles. Her previous companies include Freeda Media, Diageo, TOMS, and Heineken.
People are the heart of building category-defining digital products
Koudijs will lead Reaktor’s strategic growth in Europe, North America, and Asia. Her home office will be Amsterdam, where Reaktor is looking to grow significantly in the next three years through recruiting for various developer and designer roles.
“People are our driving force. They are the ones that create these exceptional services and products for millions of end-users around the world. The creative and technical capabilities our clients need require us to attract and develop cutting-edge talent with both hard and soft skills that make a difference”, Koudijs explains and continues:
“We must redefine what it means to be a great place to work in technology. We think it means a community where our people can grow into exceptional versions of themselves. And it means addressing our people’s needs with hybrid working models, inclusivity, and flexible benefits that enable wellbeing.”
Reaktor focuses on international growth both in talent and business
As Reaktor’s new, first-ever Chief People Officer, Koudijs will take on the People & Culture domain. People, strategy, and business are tightly intertwined at Reaktor, and Koudijs will not only lead the people-related initiatives like diversity, equity, and inclusion but significantly drive the company’s change and transformation in its next stage of international growth.
“Anouk joining us is an excellent example of how an international growth strategy becomes a reality. From the leadership team to everything we do, we’re changing how we operate in more international ways. The perspective and experience Anouk brings are crucial in ensuring we deliver a great employee experience across all our communities, which is the only way Reaktor can keep building exceptional solutions with our clients”, says Reaktor’s Chief Executive Officer Sampo Pasanen.
Koudijs and her family moved from Milan, Italy, to Amsterdam, Netherlands, for her new role. Going forward, Koudijs will spend much time in Helsinki and Reaktor’s eight other locations.
“I’m very grateful for the expat experience I’ve had. I’m surely taking many valuable lessons from this period into the new job, to the Nordic-rooted, but more and more inclusive, international culture of Reaktor. Now, it takes some readjusting to Dutch food and climate”, Koudijs says.
Reaktor’s leadership team consists of CEO Sampo Pasanen, Chief Operating Officer Roni Ström, Chief Business Officer Pauliina Luhtanen, Chief Financial Officer Ilkka Kosola, and Chief People Officer Anouk Koudijs.
